Somewhere there’s a derelict farm with a wild garden. The lazy farmer sleeps forever, while the garden languishes in drought. The vegetables have a life of their own. It divides into three nations. The peace-loving Potatoboys live in Potatown. The Indians camp in the Stinky Valley. Beyond that is the dark San Sombrero inhabited by beans and peanuts. The Sombreros bully the other inhabitants. Fortunately, in this world, it doesn’t end in death. Shootouts here result in vegetable dishes and the fallen are planted in the city’s compost heap according to the motto Recycle in Peace. Where it came from, it came from, in the midst of Sombreros’ rampage, a young potato named Kid falls from the sky. Little does he know that his destiny is to become a gunslinger, a hope for a better, fairer world.
